Rumors have been swirling that Deborah Needleman, editor of WSJ magazine, might be moving to T ever since Sally Singer left the job at the end of August — and now it's really happening. Needleman is one of the few leaders in the print industry who's actually been able to increase advertising revenue, and since Singer supposedly signed off (say that five times fast) due to dragging ad sales, Debs is basically a shoo-in.
Needleman has supposedly been leveraging offers between WSJ and T for weeks, but apparently the paper of record won out. All the best of luck to her — especially at a company that's been plagued by very gossip-worthy staffing scandals in the last few years. (The Cut)
