UPDATE: The Hollywood Reporter is, well, reporting that Pattinson's luxury campaign was just a rumor. Dior reps confirm the actor did not sign a contract of any kind — though whether or not he was ever presented one is still up in the air. (Fashion Indie)
Sure, getting constantly chased by photographers and being bombarded by questions about your most intimate private life is...not great. But if you're Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, every cloud has a silver lining. Both actors have been all over the media lately (a surefire career boost when you're, you know, promoting a gigantic blockbuster movie), and now Pattinson has just booked a $12 million deal with Dior.

The actor, 26, started out as a model at the tender age of 12 (how cute!), and this is his first modeling gig since then — he's signed on for three full years to front the brand's new men's fragrance. Seems like there's something in the water, because K. Stew also has a well-publicized fragrance campaign for Balenciaga, though that was on the books long before the scandal broke. So, you can bet that this couple's reconciliation sessions, though teary, smell amazing.
In the past, these two have been known less for their high-fashion choices and more for their tendency to emerge unshowered and wearing ratty-looking T-shirts. So, these double deals are just proof that Twi-Hards are an economic force so great that even the snootiest luxury brands can't ignore. That said, since she booked Florabotanica, Stewart has been stepping up her red carpet game! Maybe, just maybe, this is also a harbinger of better outfits to come. (FashionIndie)
