Paperless Post Hosts Their Very First Party… With Oscar De La Renta!

"I'm going to let you in on a little secret," Paperless Post co-founder James Hirschfield began last night. "Though we've been responsible for millions of party invitations, this is actually the first event we've ever had — ever." And though ironic, looking around The Lion's private dining room, you'd never guess the chic dinner, celebrating the company's real, offline, card-stock collaboration with Oscar De La Renta, was the company's first effort at playing host.
Attendees like Paperless Posts's own Alexa Hirschfeld, ODLR's Erika Bearman, Glamour's Laurel Pantin, and bloggers Natalie Joos and Leandra Medine — each in their own playful-yet-sophisticated takes on soiree attire — served as polished examples of party-goers and throwers that would use the luxe stationery for their own exclusive events. The collection is vibrant, yet understated; there are florals, and patterns, and more formal gilded cards with one common theme — each is fun and chic enough to ensure a guaranteed RSVP yes. Now we're just psyched for the online-to-IRL brand's second (and third, and fourth...) parties that are sure to come — with Oscar-invites, of course.
