PETA is bound to have something to say about this. Upping the ante on her kooky sense of style, Kate Winslet threw caution to the wind on Saturday night at the Cardboard Citizen's charity gala by topping her ensemble with…a snow fox. Yup, a snow fox. (Fortunately, we're pretty certain it's faux.)
Attending the event as a patron, Kate got fully into the spirit of the ‘secret beauty’ theme at the fundraising event for the homeless by hiding behind a sequined eye mask and aforementioned fox headpiece. An interesting move, given the kooky creation by accessories designer Natalie Ellner is close to £4000. That's one heck of a lot of meals for the homeless, no? That said, we know Kate ain’t one to shy away from a bold sartorial statement. It is not the first time the actress has displayed a penchant for animalia. There has been the magpie hat, the peacock, the badger, and lest we forget the snow bunny!

Surely she can almost get away with it, her third husband goes by "Ned Rocknroll" after all. (The Telegraph)
