Like many of us, Bieber used fashion to express his innermost feelings. He went through a style evolution, started hitting the gym, and got a whole new group of (dance-ready) buds. Despite whispers of a potential "Bieber breakdown," the 19-year-old kept his coifed head high and marched through the tabloids with as much swagger as he could muster.

They say the shoes make the man, but in Bieber's case, it's the pants. His penchant for low-riding, shiny, and baggy breeches created a barometer for his social life. The crazier the controversy, the wilder and saggier the pants. Bieber's known for being swaggie (a term he invented for his single "Boyfriend"), but is he trying to distract us with his fancy pants?
