Carine Roitfeld Is Now A Dress Designer & Car Commercial Producer, Too

Carine Roitfeld seems to have made a career out of having ridiculously good taste (which ties together all her various jobs as stylist, editor, model, and more). Add another two check marks to the list of gigs: creative director and fashion designer. Roitfeld is working as the creative director for Mercedes-Benz and, with the help of stylist Stephen Gan and photographers Max von Gumppenberg and Patrick Bienert, churned out some really retro, Richard Avedon-esque images.

In the ads, featuring model Sui He blowing a kiss to a Mercedes-Benz S-Class and then lounging in the plush backseat, Carine went a bit above and beyond her role and actually designed the skin-tight, billowing black dress Sui He appears in (we're assuming that she also had something to do with the Benz hood ornament-topped pumps).
