We are but a year and one month away from the release date of the movie adaptation of E.L. James' Fifty Shades of Grey. Yes, you heard correctly: Come August 2014, the big screen's going to get its fair share of raunchy S&M, and if what screenwriter Kelly Marcel says is true, there's going to be a whole lot more than one or two casual sex scenes. There's no word as to who's playing who yet. (Not Emma Watson, who was once rumored to be playing Anastasia Steele, but ardently denied it.) We have our bets out on who will play Steel's dominating lover, Christian, but these are more daydreams than realities at this point. Regardless, Sam Taylor-Johnson, the film's director, should take note.
Grey will be the first of three Fifty Shades movies based off James' S&M-laced trilogy loosely based on the Twilight series. Team Edward and Team Jacob fans should probably stay far, far away from this film, though. The only glittering thing in this story will be a shiny pair of handcuffs. (Huffington Post)
