There's shimmery eye makeup, and then there's full-on, no-holds-barred glitter. The kind that you have to actually apply with glue...directly to your eyelids. Sounds a little scary — especially if you're getting ready for an average Friday night on the town and not, you know, Halloween.
Well, being the daring fashion and beauty maven that she is, Hanneli Mustaparta decided to take major glitter (inspired by the look on the runway at Chanel 2013) for a spin at the Whitney Museum Art Party — with a little help from the beauty team at Vogue. Along with her friend (and friend of R29!) Hannah Bronfman, the girls learned how to apply large pailettes all over their eyes, for a Mod, Edie-Sedgwick-inspired take on the cat eye.
