It's been a while since we've heard a solid Fifty Shades movie rumor (though we did hear a little something from Bret Easton Ellis...more word on that later). But the latest has Cara Delevingne auditioning — and, apparently, impressing — for the role of Anastasia Steele. She's long harbored a dream to act, and
The Sun
has a source saying she's "a front-runner for a part. She's desperate to get the gig and has always said that she wanted to be taken seriously as an actress." Now, we're not sure whether this is the job that will get you taken seriously, but it's definitely buzzy and sure to catapult her name even higher up the A-list. And speaking of A-list, we happen to remember reading this little tidbit on our favorite guilty-pleasure blog Crazy Days and Nights. The anonymous, and generally well-informed, author claims that 20-year-old Delevingne has such a personal passion for BDSM that it's actually becoming a problem at work, as makeup artists are unable to hide bruises and marks. So, perhaps, she's particularly fit for this role in more ways than one?
