The Cool Crowd: Ruffian Launches Nail Lacquer

When Ruffian announces a new move in the beauty world, we listen (and tell you about it, obviously). As we previously reported back in February, the designer duo has launched a nail lacquer line with BirchBox. The three shades were voted on by the designer's Facebook fans (democracy at work, yo) and those three shades, entitled The Crowdsourced Collection, will be the hues that will grace models' nails at Ruffian's spring '14 show.
Brian Wolk and Claude Morais have twice partnered with MAC on lipstick and nail collaborations — resulting in the instant cult classic that was Ruffian Red, a perfect brick hue that fashionistas and beauty nerds alike swear by. As a nod to their most popular shade, they have also released a second collection to complement the fan-voted shades. Called the Classic Collection, it pairs Ruffian Red with their other two signature shades, Ruffian Naked and Ciré Noir.
The two sets are available now, exclusively at Birchbox, for $24 each, and the individual polishes retail for $10 apiece. We've decided that we absolutely need all six shades in our respective polish wardrobes —much to the dismay of our bank accounts — and we can't wait to kick off Fashion Week with that gorgeous, golden-green Hedge Fund shade on our talons.
