As a designer, Victoria Beckham is an international phenomenon. But how did she build up to said success and capitalize on her very bold-faced name? Hard work, surely. But also, a bit of tech savvy. At the start of her business, the designer was based in L.A. with her family and would use Skype to stay in touch with her London-based team — and that's how she was able to stay super-involved in the design process, from afar.
Beckham is now back over to this side of the pond, but Skype is still an important communications tool for her. Proof positive: She will be partnering with the world's most popular software application to release the story of her life as a designer.
