MAC really doesn't waste any time, do they? Mere days after launching the much anticipated RiRi Hearts MAC collection (half of which is already sold out online — it's not even in stores yet, people), we JUST got the news that the brand's next big star-studded collaboration is in the fashion world: Proenza Schouler. Yes, designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez are the latest designers to pair up with the forward-thinking cosmetics brand and we can barely contain our glee.
Why? Well, besides the fact that the pair are bona-fide fashion geniuses, the product line-up sounds just as promising as the fashion house's visionary creations. Right now the only word we have is that the collection will contain Lipsticks, Pro Longwear Eye Liners and Lip Pencils, Nail Lacquers, a 129SE Powder Brush, and something called Ombre Face Powders. We're nerding out and we don't even know what it is yet.
Sadly, we're going to have to wait until April 2014 to find out, as that's when the collection is rumored to hit stores. There's also this tantalizing tidbit from the brand: "Inspired by one of Proenza Schouler's past collections, the collaboration packaging will be extremely unique." Placing bets now on which collection the packaging will be inspired by —we're putting our money down on the spring '10 scuba collection. You?
