Yep, you read that right. Lady Gaga topped Glamour's annual list of the most accomplished women. We would say we're surprised, but it's no secret that the singer is not only one of the most popular celebrities, but a total media darling.
In fact, Glamour editors credit the pop star with making the world "a more tolerant place." The magazine just released its girl power-themed November issue, which features Lady Gaga on the cover and highlights of the year's most inspirational ladies.
Regardless of your opinion of the Monster herself — or her accomplishments for womankind — she's leading a pack of seriously amazing women for the issue. Malala Yousafzai, the Nobel Peace Prize nominee and education advocate, also made the list, as well as Net-A-Porter founder Natalie Massenet and models Christy Turlington Burns and Liya Kebede. Glamour will announce the rest of the winners later this week, before presenting each awe-inspiring woman with an award at next month's annual gala. (WWD)
