Miuccia Prada has tapped Léa Seydoux and Adèle Exarchopoulos, the two stars of French film Blue Is The Warmest Color, for Miu Miu's Resort 2014 ad in a campaign photographed by Inez and Vinoodh.
The film, which features Seydoux and Exarchopoulos as young lovers, scooped the Cannes Film Festival Palme d’Or earlier this year, and has earned a NC-17 rating due to a number of explicit sex scenes. Controversy around the film has been further ignited following claims from Seydoux that shooting the film was "horrible" and that she would never work with director Abdellatif Kechiche again.

So far two out of five campaign shots of the actresses have been released, and from what we've seen they are nowhere near as scandalous as the film that brought them together—but the collection (with particular reference to the shoes) look pretty awesome. Miu Miu said of the campaign: “Five flirtatious compositions capture their candid chemistry: an arm casually slung over a shoulder, leaning together in a mirrored pose, casually reclined across each other on the floor. The background wall in baby pink and girlish styling of the collection contrast with the actresses’ seductive presence.”
