It's been a rocky year for former child star Amanda Bynes, but things thankfully seem to be looking up. Just days after leaving a Malibu rehab, where she was admitted involuntarily following erratic behavior, the starlet seems to be making vast improvements, with help from her family and, yes, fashion.
"Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who's contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda's recovery," Bynes' family says in a statement. "Amanda has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she's feeling better every day. Despite the fact Amanda is no longer in a facility, her outpatient treatment is continuing. She's very happy to reestablish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared."

We're very glad to hear it. And, it seems that part of her recovery will involve a little retail therapy. In addition to treating herself to a shopping spree at Forever 21 on December 1, the actress — who also tells In Touch that she's "doing great" — has set her sights on being the next Victoria Beckham.
"She's now looking at various colleges with the intention of majoring in fashion design," the statement reads. "She's mentioned before she's interested in creating a clothing line."
Intriguing! It's great that Bynes is setting goals for herself, but we hope she lets herself fully recover before throwing herself into the dog-eat-dog fashion industry. One step at a time, girl. (People)
