Beth Behrs Is Pretty As A Christmas Ornament

Red lipstick is basically the biggest beauty-related "no duh" of the holiday season — it's flattering, it's festive, and (most importantly) it's a cinch to apply. However, as much as we adore a fire-engine lip this time of year, by mid-December, we're often a little bored with our go-to crimson lip and the neutral makeup that it's typically paired with.

Thankfully, Beth Behrs is here to demonstrate how versatile a matte red lip really is. Rather than matching it with boring pink blush and black eyeliner, the 2 Broke Girls actress warmed up the look with shades of gold on both her eyes and her cheeks. On her lower lids, there appears to be three different shades of shadow, applied in an ombré fashion with the lightest shade at the inner corners of her eyes. Paired with a burnished-bronze blush, the look is still sexy and smoldering — but way more unexpected than your typical red-lip look.

For her gorgeous top knot (created by hairstylist Aviva Perea), Behr's hair was prepped with Oribe Surfcomber Mousse and Phytovolume Actif Volumizing Spray for extra texture. Then, Perea pulled her hair up to the top of her head in sections (to avoid lumps and bumps). Next, she divided the hair into two sections and wrapped them separately into one big knot, which results in the beautiful bun you see here.
