Models have truly perfected the art of the selfie. After all, no one knows their angles, when to employ the duck face, and how to smize like a lady who looks fabulous for a living. So, when we asked one of our favorite models, Louise Parker, to shoot a week's worth just for us, we knew we'd see a whole lot of gorgeous. We didn't realize we'd also see a whole lot of work.
We know better than to think that a model's life is all Champagne and air-kisses. And, sure enough, Parker shows us plenty of pavement-pounding and long days. Still, somehow even the un-glam parts of the job come across looking fabulous. Exploring the epic mansion where her latest shoot took place, for example. Or, reading a novel while a coterie of Rodarte's hair and makeup artists transformed her into a futuristic space-babe.
So, easy? Not so much. But the gig is glamour through and through. Click on to see life through the eyes (and lens!) of a real, working model: parental FaceTime convos, weird, makeup-preserving hoods, and all.
