Kesha is out of rehab, and she's thriving. Recently spotted wearing an "IMA SURVIVOR" shirt in public, the pop star seemed radiantly happy and renewed. One thing that's not making a comeback, however? The infamous $. The singer has reportedly dropped the trademark bling from her name, perhaps signaling a new, more level-headed start.
"She wants a fresh start after her 60 days in rehab for an eating disorder, and the moniker she uses in her name reminds her of her 'old self,'" a source told TMZ. "So, from now on, it's simply Kesha. We're told she's spending a lot of time with a therapist who will continue what she calls a work in progress. Kesha is also following the advice she got in rehab — get rid of the negative people in her life who contributed to the problems in her life that led to the eating disorder."
Given that it's TMZ, we're ambivalent about how reputable that so-called source is, but we're certainly thrilled that Kesha is on the mend.
She's is getting a fresh start online, too, relaunching her Twitter account under the name @KeshaRose. "Happy to be back! Feeling healthy & working on tons of new music. I can't thank my fans enough for all the love & support u have given me," she tweeted, before posting the incredible photo above. "Had to go play in the sand," she joked. How could anyone resist?
