Kate Upton Shows Us How Rockabilly Glam Is Done

While she may not be as polarizing as Kim or Gwyneth, Kate Upton is one of those celebrities that always manages to get a rise out of people. Seems that the swimsuit model's move into fashion, beauty, and now movies rubs some people the wrong way. (A touch of envy, perhaps?) While it's true that her acting skills have yet to be evaluated, we have to give Upton major props for bringing it in the beauty department at the premiere of her first feature film, The Other Woman.

In preparation for her appearance on the red carpet with none other than Hollywood veterans Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann, Upton wore a toned down version of her signature Marilyn-inspired makeup, pairing strong brows and black cat-eyes with barely there blush and lip color (picking up a few tips from Bobbi Brown, perhaps?). But, that hair! Upton ditched her typical long waves for an asymmetrical, voluminous updo that our beauty director described as "more Don Draper than Betty."

Aside from being a trendier look for the star than we're used to seeing (Tom Ford spring '14, anyone?), we love how this style puts the focus on Upton's impossibly lovely face. If this red-carpet win is any indication, we'd say that we're going to be seeing much more of Kate on the silver screen.
