In American Ultra, KStew plays Phoebe, the girlfriend of a stoner named Mike (Jesse Eisenberg). Her small-town life is shattered when Mike's past comes back to haunt him and the government seeks to wipe him out. As plots do, it thickens.
So, KStew finds herself in another storyline about the disruption of a sleepy town. But, livening things up with neon hair versus vampire romance is a welcomed change. (E)
