Rad Or Bad: Anne Hathaway’s Twisted Pixie

Growing out a pixie can be a huge pain. And, if there's anyone who's just going through it right now, it's Anne Hathaway. While bouncing around for her Rio 2 press tour, Anne has been trying basically every style under the sun to mask her hair's awkward phase. In her latest attempt, Anne went for a pinned-up, twisted style that immediately gave us pause.

We applaud Hathaway for employing a little creativity, rather than hiding her hair under a cap, but she landed on twists that were all the rage in the '90s. And, she's come back to the time-warped trend more than once during her growing phase. What's worse, we're almost certain that if she just let her hair down (literally), it would fall into some pretty dope waves.

There are ways to make the cringe-y grow-out look modern and chic. Jennifer Lawrence debuted a lovable baby bob, and Coco Rocha has been hiding at least two inches of hair in plain sight for the past month or so. That's Oscar- and Vogue-worthy proof right there.

Anne was one of the pioneers of the pixie trend during its revival a few years ago, and her style was arguably one of Hollywood's best. So, she should be able to take these inches in stride.
