Brace yourselves: The '60s are invading L.A. this summer. Kristen Bell is set to star as Sheila in the Hollywood Bowl production of Hair, the hippie musical that made its controversial Broadway debut in 1968. Bell and the rest of the cast will take the stage for three nights only, August 1, 2, and 3 — no doubt donning their best flared jeans, flower crowns, and fringe.
Joining the Frozen actress onstage will be Weeds star Hunter Parrish as Claude, as well as Glee's Amber Riley and Jenna Ushkowitz as Dionne and Jeanie. Beverly D'Angelo, who played Sheila in the '70s-film version, will play Mom this time around.
No word yet whether the cast will partake in the infamous group nude scene from the original musical. In any case, "Aquarius" is already stuck in our heads, so we'll be booking our tickets ASAP. (Vulture)
