Watch Laverne Cox In John Legend’s Empowering New Video

John Legend is on some sort of mission to make us tear up at all of his music videos. First, it was his ode to wife Chrissy Teigen in "All Of Me." Now, it's his tribute to females everywhere, "You & I (Nobody in the World)." The video features women of all ages, shapes, and sizes looking at themselves in the mirror.
It's a powerful message of self-acceptance. A cancer survivor removes her wig, another reveals her mastectomy scars. Orange Is the New Black star (and newly-minted Emmy nominee) Laverne Cox takes off her makeup. Comedian Tig Notaro catches a glimpse of herself in a window. An artist paints a self-portrait. A middle schooler deals with bullying. By the video's end, the tears in many of the women's eyes are happy ones — tears of empowerment.
Legend also asked the 63 women who participated in the video what they see when they look in the mirror and filmed their responses for a behind-the-scenes documentary. Called "When I Look In The Mirror," the short film is intended to raise awareness for #OperationGirl Charity Challenge, a fundraising campaign for charities focused on females. You officially win the weekend, John Legend. Now where are my tissues? (Huffington Post)
