Looking for a laugh this fall? Well, it's not exactly the season for comedies — a mere seven major ones to 38 big-deal dramas — but there are still enough of them to keep us from getting too serious.
The giggles kick off with an indie romantic comedy that puts a spin on When Harry Met Sally for the friends-with-benefits generation. After that, Nancy Meyers turns an icon (Robert De Niro) into Anne Hathaway's intern. In November, the Peanuts gang gets a CGI update. Then, Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Anthony Mackie don their best Christmas (and Chanukah) sweaters in a drug-fueled holiday romp.
In case none of the aforementioned flicks floats your particular boat of hilarious, there's one gem on the December calendar that's sure to make you smile. It involves Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and a raucous house party for the ages.
