Celebrate! The Best Sex And The City Moments, Ever

Sex and the City is a show we return to again and again. You could argue that there's no need to try and justify your addiction to the series, but isn't it always nice to have an excuse to rewatch old episodes? And Carrie Bradshaw's birthday seems as good a reason as ever. According to the Sex and the City wiki, today (January 15) is Carrie's birthday. (Wikipedia disagrees, but that's okay, it just gives us a second day to celebrate later in the year.)
Ahead, we've rounded up our all-time favorite moments from the series. Happy birthday, Carrie! Hopefully this year is better than your 35th!

The Good Fight
"When Carrie and Aidan are fighting about the apartment clutter now that Aidan has moved in, Carrie starts going through his stuff and accidentally finds Rogaine, old razors, and a hoard of other weird, personal items. 'Who needs five, almost-empty, Speed Stick deodorants!? What are you a crazy bag man?' I love this whole scene because it's so honest about couples living together, especially in New York where space is limited. The delicate balance of trying to hang on to your 'SSB' (as the girls call it) while also living with your dude takes time to figure out. Even the title of this episode is great. Their 'good fight' is such a hilarious, harmless argument to have, yet ends up being such a great release for both of them who come out on the other side more calm, willing to compromise, and better off." — Brittnee Cann, QA Analyst

Big & Carrie's Happy Ending
"In the last episode, when Big looks at Carrie and says, 'You're the one,' kills me every single time!" — Jessica Teves, managing editor
Charlotte's Bad Kisser
"My favorite SATC moment is when Charlotte is explaining to the girls her new boyfriend and how badly he kisses. My favorite line is, 'He raped my face!' Not all guys know how to kiss, even when you’re trying to 'help' them and stroke their egos." — Michelle Chen, VP, ad operations
Miranda's Mother's Funeral
"Miranda's mother's funeral, when she starts to falter and break down while walking behind the coffin, and Carrie instinctively runs over to hold her up. It was a moment that sincerely depicted female friendship, which was really the strongest through-line of that show. All the shoes and giant flowers were fun, but those relationships were what truly resonated and kept the show watchable." — Kelsey Miller, SEO editor

The Pear-Shaped Diamond
"My favorite is, 'It was a pear-shaped diamond...with a gold band' from the episode when Miranda helps Aidan pick out an engagement ring for Carrie. SJP's delivery was hilarious, and it was one of the classic scenes with the four of the girls at the diner, and it totally foreshadowed how Carrie and Aidan just weren't going to make it." — Alison Denton, brand integration manager
Carrie & Aidan Break Up
"At Charlotte's first wedding, after Carrie and Aidan break up (after he carves that beautiful present for them, with the two kinds of intertwining wood, and then she confesses to cheating), she's standing on the steps with the girls, taking pics, trying to hold herself together, and closes the monologue with these words, which feel emblematic of everything I loved about this show: 'It’s hard to find people who will love you no matter what. I was lucky enough to find three of them.' Because the men came and went, but ultimately, the love and support these women showed each other was inspiring and just so, so real." — Neha Gandhi, deputy editor
Big & Carrie's First Date
"This is the ultimate Big moment, where he shows Carrie that he's totally not f-ing around." — Charlene Chang, senior manager, commerce partnerships
The Post-It Breakup
"My favorite is definitely Carrie's awesome rebound after, 'I'm sorry. I can't. Don't hate me.' That Post-it still haunts me." — Christene Barberich, editor-in-chief
Miranda's Chocolate Addiction

"I love the episode where Miranda decides to bake herself a cake, then throws it out so she can't keep eating it...then promptly starts eating it out of the garbage. It's like this moment of, 'Wait, what am I doing? How did I get here?' She calls Carrie, and says,
'Your good friend Miranda Hobbes has just taken a piece of cake out of the garbage and eaten it. You will probably need this information when you check me into the Betty Crocker Clinic.' Love it. — Amanda Keiser, commerce editor

Miranda & Aidan's Run-In
"I love when Miranda throws out her back and Aidan comes to save her and she is naked on the floor, hugging the rug as he picks her up. I MEAN, FUNNY STUFF." — Kate Hyatt, director of production
