If you've ever felt the urge to be held captive by Alexander Wang (cough, not that we're speaking from experience), now's your chance to live the dream without looking like a nutcase. The new spring 2011 cage installation, which A.Wang designed himself, envelops the store from floor-to-cieling, and is rigged with LED lights for a futuristic-chic ambience. He describes the piece as a key element in a customer's brand experience, transforming the retail space into a place they can feel comfortable. Comfort in a cage? We'll leave that one up to you. The installation will be up through the end of June—check out the making-of video on the Alexander Wang site.
