We Interview The Most Famous Blonde In The World — Barbie

Often, we are asked about the most famous person we have ever interviewed, and while we have plenty of major marquee names under our collective R29 belts, this particular convo might take the cake: We got the major scoop from one of the world's most famous blondes — Barbie. The pint-sized gal is all over Fashion Week this year, with a doll designed by the Blonds and her presidential iteration getting the Chris Benz treatment. So, we had to get a one-on-one about how she stays so NYFW-ready after all these years. Here's what she had to say:

Barbie, after all these years, your skin looks great! Do you have any tips or secrets you can share with us about your regimen? What is most important to you?

"Every California doll knows the importance of (plastic) skin care. Plus, I truly believe laughter is the best way to keep your face looking it’s best…keep smiling, dolls!"

You have SO many different looks! How in the world do you pack for Fashion Week with such options? Do you have any tips for people hoping to look stylish abroad without carrying tons and tons of trunks?
"Luckily, my doll-sized clothes make it easy to pack as much as possible. A tip I’ve picked up after years of Fashion Week adventures: Less is more…more room for all of the goodies you will get to bring home."
Some of us don't wake up in the morning looking fab, like you do, Barbie. During an intense Fashion Week, how do you make due on a less-than-stellar sleep schedule? Do you tend to call it a night earlier, or later?
"This doll loves to hit the spa at all times! After a day or two of running around the city in heels, it’s important to make time to rest and get pampered. Dancing the night away is much more fun when you’re feeling fresh!"

Last, but not least: What color trends are you predicting for fall? What will we see on the runways...or on you?

"I heart seeing the incorporation of bold patterns and bright, statement pieces paired with more typical, subtle fall colors. There’s nothing more fab than playing with color. Like I always say, dolls, think pink!"
