We'll admit it: The last time we thought about the 1988 cult favorite, Beetlejuice, was this past summer, when Robin Thicke donned that striped suit in his insta-infamous VMAs performance. Well, now it looks like there's a reason for the classic flick to be on our radars anew — Beetlejuice 2 is in the works, more than a quarter-century after the original was first released.

TMZ asked Michael Keaton if a sequel had been given the green light. "That's what they're telling me," he responded. Tim Burton is also reportedly talking about reprising his role as director.
Sure, taking a 26-year hiatus between movies is unusual, but it's not unheard of (we're looking at you, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps). So, could this sequel possibly top the original? Let us know what you think! (NME)
