Elle Fanning Shoots Editorial In A Bathroom Wearing Rodarte Couture

Rodarte's ready-to-wear collection is already a stretch in terms of construction — the Mulleavy sisters are notoriously involved when it comes to hand-knitting the sweaters, hand-stitching the dresses, and hand-dying the prints. One can imagine, then, how intricate and special their couture collection is, which Elle Fanning models in an editorial shot by Bill Owens for the Rodarte spring '12 couture collection magazine.

Set in a less-than-glamorous bungalow in Los Angeles, Elle sits perched on the sink tiles of a salmon-hued bathroom (in front of some wooden cats hanging on the wall), on the wheat-and-chocolate colored bathtub tiles, and peeping out from behind a shower door.
