Chelsea Peretti Went On A Hilarious Twitter Rant About What Not To Say To Pregnant Women

It's no secret that women are often subject to unwanted comments about their appearance. And for pregnant women, the unsolicited remarks are a lot worse.
Comedian and Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Chelsea Peretti, who's currently expecting a child with husband Jordan Peele, knows the reality of unsolicited pregnancy comments all too well. And on Monday, she went on a Twitter rant about it. The star has apparently had it with the offhanded remarks and passive-aggressive comments. And everyone can stand to learn a thing or two from her all-caps tweets.
"IF U C A PREG WOMAN OUT & ABOUT & FEEL INCLINED 2 SHOUT SOMETHING IN HER FACE ABOUT HOW SHE LOOKS - GET READY FOR A SHOUT BACK ON UR LOOKS," Peretti tweeted on Monday afternoon.

Another gem? ""UR BABY LOOKS READY TO DROP!" "THANKS MISS, UR PANTS LOOK HEMMED AT A WEIRD LENGTH" Good talk."
And it should go without saying, but no one, except maybe a doctor, should ever comment on a pregnant woman's (or any person's) size.
Also, pregnant women are tired of hearing your non-expert "theories" about the sex of their future child.
And why do we think nosiness is okay when it comes to pregnancy?
Plenty of pregnant women have endured this seemingly innocent question too many times to count.
Peretti ended the rant with a solution about how to avoid talking about her body at her baby shower.
The bottom line? It's great to congratulate someone you know when you find out they're pregnant. But asking nosy questions — especially of strangers — gets old, fast. If parents-to-be want to share details with you, they will. But they don't need your opinion on whether they're excited, or "carrying low."
