As New Yorkers, we know that once the sun goes down, air-conditioned subways and windy streets (not to mention those Long Island beaches) can leave you searching for another layer of clothing. If you're sick of that ratty cardigan you've been toting around the past two months, we've got an all-purpose pullover that'll have you wishing for some cool breezes. Our photo intern spotted this nautical-striped, super-comfy hoodie from one of our favorite Nolita hot spots Saturdays Surf NYC. Dubbed the "Collett" after the shop's owner and surfing guru Morgan Collett, the striped number is more than perfect to wear while lounging around your apartment, after a day on the sand, or while walking the streets of SoHo. It's big enough to double as a beach cover-up dress, but would also look equally good skimming the tops of some denim cut-offs. We're ready to cozy up on our couch and slip Overboard into our DVD player—in this number we're giving Goldie Hawn a run for her money.
