We've long been fans of Tibi's casual-chic offerings—dresses in bold prints, erratic sequins, and preppy jackets with an edge. But, we hate the fact that when we want to shop the collection from our own home, we've got to hop around the net from site to site, without seeing the whole line. Well, designer Amy Smilovic was in tune to our frustrations, launching an E-commerce and newly re-branded website that makes it easy to get your Tibi fix in a flash. Retail outlets are essential to our business but don't have the capability to speak for the entire collection and overall image we're trying to portray;" says Smilovic. "Tibi has evolved tremendously over the years and this is an important outlet in communicating that to our customers." Yea, welcome to 2010 guys! In addition to e-commerce (where you can click on runway pictures to take you to the pieces), the site will also feature social networking, party photos, a blog, and behind-the-scene exclusives of the designer and her team. Our fave part? Styling tips centered on all things Tibi RTW, swim, and shoes. Oh, and you can click on pics of long time fan Olivia Palermo and buy exactly what's she's wearing.
