Considering the number of tacky board-shorts and banana hammocks out there, finding a pair of cool, basic trunks can be difficult, to say the least. Something that's easy on the eyes, doesn't cost a ton, and won't make you look like some Club Med Cabana boy at (unless, of course, that's' what you're going for). Thankfully, we've found some suitable options. Sure, they're a touch splashier than your average Speedo. But loosen up! It's summer, and if ever there was a place to let your guard down, it's at the beach...plus it'll make you easier to spot should you encounter a rogue shark off the shores of Montauk!
