Have a Bizaar Holiday—If you haven't been to the Holiday Bizaar yet you better get your butt toot-sweet over the bridge to Brooklyn to check it out, because the conceptual pop-up store only has one week left in business. Designed for interaction and inspiration, Holiday Bizaar houses a carefully curated, eclectic mix of goods from independent designers from both New York and abroad. Featured brands include Assembly New York, Reid Peppard, Brook Farm General Store, Electric Feathers and Iris Loeffler. You can expect to see directional home wears, quirky jewellery, ancient books and other oddities amongst some of the treasures. If the prospect of shopping for one-of-a-kind, beatific goods wasn't enough, this bazaar has a host of enticing activities planned for their final week. To give you a little taste: on Wednesday you're invited to drink and draw, on Friday there's a photography exhibition, on Saturday it's DIY Christmas Giftmaking worshops and on Sunday a glorious pre-Christmas brunch. Put together by none other than the Gift on Grand girls, the spot-on arbiters of great taste, the markets features designers including Purldrop, bonbon Oiseau and Leoworks. Be warned, though: the place is stuffed from floor to ceiling with gifts so good you might just want to keep them all for yourself!

Cleopatra's Presents—Your wallet may be getting a workout with all that shopping, but don't forget about your brain! Give yourself some thinking time with a dose of culture straight from the arty guys at Leo Koenig Inc. Projekte. Check out their Cleopatra's Presents exhibition, which shows work from a Brooklyn-based curatorial collective. The super social bunch of artists, Xavier Cha, Jenna Gribbon, Hannah Hoffmann, Andrea Huelse, Anna Lundh, Caris Reid, Hanna Sandin and Maayan Zilberman originally came together over potluck dinners (makes us think that we should be doing something more creative at meals besides just, well...eating)! The show includes painting, video, text and sculptural installation and celebrates the friendship and discourse that has developed between these like-minded aesthetes. So grab a friend of your own and mosey on over to the gallery—arts always a great way to say I love you this season.
