Double your pleasure, double your fun with Madewell's second NYC location, set to open next Tuesday, April 26, in the Flatiron District. Because sometimes bigger is better, the store will be the largest Madewell yet, with 6,500-square-feet spread over two floors. The boutique's New York City-centric decor was dreamed up by the brand's in-house design team, who stayed true to Griffith Thomas' original, landmarked structure realized in 1868. Look for interior wood panels and double-height historic windows, plus reclaimed lumber flooring and the original moldings and cast iron columns for a truly "authentic" feel. In the first two weeks of opening, the boutique will play host to a pop-up shop appropriately titled "Hometown Heroes," with a cast of characters of all your favorite NYC brands like In God We Trust, Love Adorned, JF&Sons, and Albertine. While we don't have interior pics yet, check out the cute sketch from Marketing Director Gigi Guerra. Made well indeed.
