Holy anniversary! Kiehl's is celebrating the 160th year of their neighborhood apothecary vibe and they've decked out the New York flagship accordingly: There's a motorcycle photo booth featuring Steve McQueen's vintage 1934 Indian "Suicide Shift" Scout with a switchable day or night background (straddle that bike!); a video wish booth for leaving personalized messages; five super cool vintage-inspired sample machines; iPads featuring fun facts from Kiehl's history (that lip balm you're addicted to launched in 1971); a 20 minute "Friends of Kiehl's" documentary, and one of Kiehl's greatest hits—the ultra-moisturizing Creme de Corps lotion—gets a makeover with three limited-edition labels. The Anniversary Retrospective opens to the public on May 19 and runs until August 31, but the anniversary extravaganza continues with a big celeb-packed party tonight featuring the new Kiehl's Gives partners Pharrell Williams, Julianne Moore, and the Scissor Sisters, plus, all photo booth pics get uploaded to their Facebook page and more limited-edition product launches are coming in September.
