Kiehl’s Is Opening A NYC Spa, New Tourist Destination Is Born

Kiehl's addicts, your prayers have been answered: The cult-favorite skincare brand is opening a spa on 64th and Lexington this July that uses, what else, their amazing range of apothecary-inspired products. The two-story locale will house a Kiehl's store on the first floor and Spa 1851 on the second. The spa has three full treatment rooms, a separate men's grooming station and interiors that boast vintage reclaimed ceilings, antique and oak fixtures. There are iPads in the lounge, limited-edition Havaiana flip-flops, and unique artwork, like David LaChapelle's Rainforest Photo Mural. And when it comes to Kiehl's spa services, the key word here is customization. Each Kiehl's Signature Facial is tailored to your skincare needs with a skin diagnosis, a specific infusion therapy, and hand-blended masques. Plus, the anti-aging facials include either Microdermabrasion or Micro Current Stimulation, depending on skin type. Naturally, Spa 1851 will offer body treatments, too, and men will feel comfortable popping in for a shave or a cut. Now, let's hope the rest of the country gets the spa treatment, too.
