UPDATE: When we first heard about this incident, we speculated a lawsuit was on the way — and we were right.
Daily News
reports that publicist Lynn Tesoro will be suing Jennifer Eymère for $1 million over claims of “assault, battery, emotional distress, slander and/or libel.”
We really shouldn't be surprised to hear about a catfight breaking out during Fashion Week. Heck, we've been this close to giving a good kick once or twice. But when we heard the deets on the slapping match that broke out at Zac Posen, we were pretty stunned.

Actually, it's a pretty hilarious story: After the fire marshal cut 60 seats just before the show, things got hectic, and Lynn Tesoro (founder of PR firm HL Group, which represents Posen) was understandably struggling to seat all the bigwigs without ruffling any feathers. Unfortunately for Tesoro, French publishing exec Marie-José Susskind-Jalou was on the scene with her daughters. And when Mom and the kids started screaming at the PR rep when their new seats weren't ready fast enough, one of the daughters, Jennifer Eymere, of Jalouse magazine, wasn't afraid to escalate the argument. Eymere told WWD: “I said, ‘Don’t speak to my mom like this. You have to stop to speak like that.’" To be fair, she did give the PR pro a warning: "I said, ‘Be careful, I am going to slap you...'" Then, she did!
Well folks, we can all learn a lesson here. As Eymere pointed out at the end of her chat with WWD, “I didn’t hurt her, it was just to humiliate her. She humiliated my mom, and I humiliated her in front of her crew. Voilà. I just said at the end, 'Now you know you don’t f--k with French people.’” (WWD)
