Theory x Uniqlo: For The Cold-Blooded But Very Stylish

theory-t-down
There are few fashion challenges as daunting as finding winter wear that's warm without being painfully ugly. Most of the time, we'll opt for a light chill in favor of a gorgeous but not necessarily windproof oversized coat, but when the snow hits the fan, a choice must be made. Lucky for us, that choice just got a whole lot easier! Uniqlo's come to our rescue before with the J+ by Jil Sander collection, and now, the Japanese retailer is rolling out a collaboration line with Theory!
Theory and Uniqlo are owned by the same parent company, so — like anything Uniqlo does — this is a very sensible business decision. The capsule collection will include down jackets and vests that combine Theory's sleek, chic, street-ready design with Uniqlo's tech-savvy fabrics, engineering, and so-low prices. The most expensive item will ring in at $149, pretty much the best deal for a decent down jacket outside of Burlington Coat Factory. The covetable collection will go on sale in Theory and Uniqlo stores (rare for this type of high-low collab) on November 15 and will also be available at Theory's online store. (Style.com)
