It's hard to do wrong, sartorially speaking, when you're a million feet tall and gorgeous. It's even harder when your name is Diane Kruger and you're a class-A actress on top of all that. Then again, crop tops can be an insurmountable obstacle for even the best-dressed among us.
And yet, superstar Kruger crossed the finish line with flying colors in a Rochas co-ord ensemble at The Hollywood Foreign Press Association and InStyle Miss Golden Globe 2013 party in L.A. The red carpet isn't typically a great place for midriff-spotting, but somehow this pairing makes a little bare skin look oh-so-refined. She also pulled off the complete runway look (minus the shoes), including the skinny belt. And instead of opting for an elaborate hairstyle (as she is known to do), she kept it casual, opting for low-maintenance jewelry, too.

What's your stance on this? Is the red carpet the wrong place for midriff, or is Kruger pioneering a new look that's sure to catch on among the style set? (Vogue.fr)
