Celebrity weddings are usually messy affairs, with photographers hiding in bushes or lavish ceremonies in countries we didn't know existed. Which is why we have to give a sincere hat-tip to Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds: They managed to pull off a lovely, low-key affair with relatively no leaks — or creepy feelings of exploitation.
Though, this is probably what happens when you get Martha Stewart to plan your nuptials. The homemaking maven assisted with the South Carolina wedding, and her magazine got some much-coveted glimpses at the wedding. But, in keeping things classy, the magazine only shared "elements we created together," like the gold glitter-dipped bouquet of pink jasmine, andromeda, dusty miller, and blushing-bride hydrangeas.

In a classic southern style, the dessert table was simply overflowing with tasty treats and was offset with a simple, unfinished wood wall. According to Weddings, "(As an) avid cook, crafter, and baker, Blake envisioned an abundant dessert table overflowing with their favorite treats." In the center was a butter cake made locally in Virginia. Props to the couple for local sourcing!

While we didn't get a full glimpse of the Marchesa dress that Lively wore, the couple shared this sweet photo of their big day, and offered a peek of the gauzy tulle gown, complete with the gold accented embellishments on the skirt. The soft light (plus loving hand-holding) really does give the whole thing that perfect southern charm.
See the whole thing on Monday, when the magazine hits the stands.
