Though we Yanks may think of rag & bone as a New York institution, the label has British roots. The term itself, "rag and bone," is an old British phrase for a peddler who'd sell scavenged trinkets, and both David Neville and Marcus Wainwrights are Brits by blood, and the line is hugely inspired by British tailoring.
So, when the NYC-based brand revealed its newest campaign images, we weren't that surprised — Alasdair McLellan shot Kate Moss in Southrop, Gloucestershire. Said Marcus Wainwright about the remote shooting location, "Kate happens to have an affinity for [the village]. It was also a fun play on our British heritage."
