Forget about Team Coco and Team Leno, we're siding with the newest addition to the late-night television round-up: The one and only André Leon Talley. The man who has no shame wearing UGGS and absolutely cannot attend a tennis lesson without his monogramed Louis Vuitton luggage has penned a deal with Electus, the production company that has brought us television gems such as Mob Wives and Fashion Star.
The program is still in its early stages of development, but Talley has hinted to WWD that he hopes to create "a show that blends Dick Cavett’s approach to eloquence and sophistication with unparalleled access into my international fashion lifestyle." We have no doubt that this outrageous Vogue personality will bring a new air of opulence and sass to the late night scene. He has connections with almost everyone who's anyone, and a stage presence that can shade any Broadway star. Late night has been a little bland lately — dare we say our eyes are starving for some quality after-hours TV? If his interviews for Entertainment Tonight and judging stints on America's Next Top Model are any indication of what we're in for, this is gonna be one helluva ride. (WWD)
