First GQ, Then Vogue, Now Beyoncé’s Covering The Gentlewoman

The U.K. has Kate Middleton. France has Carla Bruni. We, however, have Beyoncé. Queen Bey's relentless pop-cultural coup d'état has been a whirlwind, to say the least, and her reign doesn't seem to be diminishing anytime soon (who would want it to, anyway?). In the past seven weeks, you would have had to literally disconnect your cable, cancel your Internet, ignore your phone, and maybe go into hibernation to avoid the singer/actress/fashion designer/mother/overall goddess' name.
The star stuns in a minimal black and white shoot by Alasdair McLellan in an elegant dress from this season's Dior Couture collection. The Gentlewoman honors the inspiring, extraordinary, and dynamic women of our culture. Now in it's seventh issue (which hits stands today), Beyoncé joins the ranks of other fellow Gentlewomen — Adele, Angela Lansbury, Phoebe Philo, and Christy Turlington — proving that girls really do run this motha.
