2 Suits, 1 Night: James Franco Cleans Up Nice At Oz Screening

jamesnew

While James Franco didn't arrive at Tuesday night's Cinema Society & Gucci screening of
Oz The Great And Powerful
in a hot air balloon, he did show up continuing a sartorial clean streak that's both great and powerful. First, he rocked the red carpet in a grey Gucci notch-lapel two-button Marseille suit — paired with a crisp white dress shirt, complimenting grey tie, and black leather lace-ups. The star (and current face of Gucci) looked fashion-forward without being over-the-top (that's what we call the perfect amount of sheen).

Later, at the after-party, hosted by sexy new UES restaurant Harlow, the actor made an entrance in another Gucci getup — this time in a rich brown. Throw in the pink striped tie, and you've got some serious dudes' duds inspiration. We're loving how the typically style-schizophrenic Franco is going the clean-shaven, super-polished route — it reminds us of just how James Dean-esque he can be. While we're sure the Pineapple Express stoner scruff will resurface soon, we're hoping Glinda can work her good magic and keep his dapper masculine mojo going for a while. The Wicked Witch of fashion won't be happy.
