You don't have to give us an excuse to shop and dine in one of our favorite NYC 'hoods. But it just so happens that elite designer minds like DVF, Andrew Rosen, Olivier Theyskens, and Tory Burch are doing just that at tonight's Meatpacking District Improvement Association's first annual fundraiser. The event, which is open to the public (with tickets for purchase starting at $150, here), celebrates the MPD's distinct combination of expert shopping with gourmet food.
Appropriately dubbed "Open Market," the evening gives attendees a chance to nosh on the District's best food offerings, shop sample sales and a silent auction, and obviously rub elbows with some high-profile event co-chairs — all to benefit the very neighborhood where it's popping off. Just make sure you get there on time to beat us to the merch!
