Your Gatsby First Listen — From Bey To Del Rey

UPDATE: Get your first listen here with this soundtrack sampler. Pretty exciting stuff, huh?
Say what you will about Baz Luhrmann's over-the-top directing style, and the fact that his type of pacing is more suited towards breathtaking spectacles instead of the slow-burn of Fitzgerald, but the man certainly knows how to craft a soundtrack. (The Romeo + Juliet CD is still one of the better compilations of the '90s, we are sure you'll agree.) With the heat turned up high on his adaptation of The Great Gatsby, Luhrmann has got an awful lot of people to please — but it looks like his Jay-Z-helmed movie tunes are going to, ahem, knock it out of the park.
The track listing is almost as exciting as the film itself. Just check out these dramatic, sure-to-be-classic heavy-hitters:

"100$ Bill" - Jay-Z
"Back To Black" - Beyoncé x Andre 3000
"Bang Bang" - will.i.am
"A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got)" - Fergie + Q Tip + GoonRock
"Young And Beautiful" - Lana Del Rey
"Love Is The Drug" - Bryan Ferry with The Bryan Ferry Orchestra
"Over The Love" - Florence + The Machine
"Where The Wind Blows" - Coco O. of Quadron
"Crazy in Love" - Emeli Sande and The Bryan Ferry Orchestra
"Together" – The xx
"Hearts A Mess" - Gotye
"Love Is Blindness" – Jack White
"Into the Past" - Nero
"Kill and Run" - Sia
