We’re happy to talk about any and every subject. Triple-dip recession, pension plans, and variable mortgages are all A-okay by us. But sometimes, it’s nice to just kick back and spend some time discussing what is really important. Like shoes.
That’s why we’re thrilled to hear that on April 18, Rupert Sanderson will be in conversation with Vogue's executive retail edito, Emily Zak. The totally free event is taking place in the Aubaine restaurant at Selfridges, as part of the department store’s Shoe Carnival.
We’re looking forward to hearing what the British designer has to say about a career that has seen achievements such as winning the British Fashion Council’s accessory designer of the year award twice in a row and opening his second Hong Kong store last week, to name just a few. Plus, we're dying to know more about the fact that he names each shoe after a daffodil. Cute to boot, no? (Vogue)
