We really, really want to hate Diane Kruger right now, but we just can't. Yes, she is one part of probably the cutest celeb couple ever. And, yes, she is the kind of good-looking that makes people get so distracted they walk into things, Looney Tunes style. And, now she's gone ahead and landed herself the gig as the new face of Chanel's skin care. Rough life. But even though her existence is infinitely more glamorous and charmed than ours, we can't envy her success because she just seems so darn nice and down to earth.
This isn't D.Krugs' first time at the beauty spokesperson rodeo — she had a brief contract back in 2009 with L'Oréal. She and Chanel also have a history, as she was in the brand's Allure fragrance campaign back in 1996 and she posed for Karl Lagerfeld in 2007 for the Paris-Biarritz handbag campaign.
The woman is an absolute natural for a skin care spokesmodel, boasting the kind of unmarked, pristine complexion our dreams are made of. The ads are going to drop sometime later this year and just like D. Krugs, we're sure they'll be absolutely breathtaking. Chanel, if you're listening, do us a solid and try to work Joshua Jackson in there somehow, mmkay? We've been missing him since Fringe went off the air....
