Book This Now: The Notting Hill Literary Festival Launches On Friday

This Friday sees the launch of the inaugural Notting Hill literary festival. And while our fair city is lucky enough to play host a variety of literary festivals like Richmond, Stoke Newington, and the London International Book Fair, this is the first time such an event will take place in West London. Literary agent and author Laetitia Rutherford devised the festival to support Notting Hill’s literary venues and communities.
The fest runs from April 12 to April 14. We’ve bookmarked (just had to) the talk between writer and blogger Sasha Wilkins, a.k.a Liberty London Girl, magazine editor Sam Baker, and food writer Tom Hayward. The discussion is called "Blogs and Books: Writers in the Digital Age." Sounds just up our street, as is Saturday’s talk between lifestyle journalist Clover Stroud and Dr Jonty Heaversedge, who will be discussing "The Secret of Mindfulness," with tips on how to beat the stress of modern living. See you in the front row? (NibFest)
